The beauty of the place is all in the suggestions that  the old houses inspire: you go through the streets, not a soul, and in front of you appears, rather well-preserved, the perfect image of an Ogliastra village of the 1950s: the typical houses, the wooden doors still framed in aureoles of red or blue.

If you go away from the village you can reach the nuraghic site of “Serbissi” that is the most important and the best preserved , situated a short distance from a neolithic tomb, called ”de s’Orku”, that oral tradition considered as a grave of imaginary giants, because of the dimensions of the tomb itself.
