Ogliastra is one of the most beautiful and famous regions in
Sardinia for climbers:
the calcareous mountains of Supramonte and the Tacchi of Jerzu, the Aguglia, symbol of climbing in
Sardinia, the crowded ‘falesie’ of the Gallic village of Baunei, Punta Giradili.
It’s really a microcosm which can satisfy the most demanding
climber, where it is possible to find anything you want, and to climb during any season, even in
summer, that is traditionally considered unfavourable, the climber will find the freshness he wants after a
quiet morning at the seaside, in the gorges of Ulassai and Osini.
